Not many Google apps and services are available in night mode on the web. The newest to roll out a dark theme is Google Drive.

You will be prompted to “Continue to enjoy Drive in the dark” by “New! Dark mode” once it is available. Next, select Appearance from the General > Settings > Gear icon in the top-right area. The theme of your gadget is not automatically followed.

It coordinates with other choices for Density (Cozy, Compact, Comfortable) and Start page (Home or My Drive).

Applicable just to the file view, the dark theme is rather simple. The same documents, spreadsheets, slides, etc. Darker/blacker is the inside container and lighter/grayer is the background (sidebar, search bar, etc.).

Dark themes are also available for Google Keep and Chat, and Gmail provides a feature comparable to this one, although it does not extend to the email text itself. YouTube and Google Search are available outside of Workspace. In contrast to smartphones, there aren’t as many nighttime-appropriate outfits available.

You are now only able to access one of your accounts’ Google Drive dark themes. Although it hasn’t been released extensively yet, perhaps Google will keep updating all Workspace apps in this way.
