Taapsee Pannu married her longtime partner Mathias Boe on March 23 in a small ceremony in Udaipur. On Thursday, April 11, she made her first public appearance since the wedding. The actress was present at the Mumbai reception of Anand Pandit’s daughter. She wore a gorgeous red saree and a matching scarf to hide her red bangles, or chooras. Taapsee looked stunning in a bun with gold danglers around her ears as she grinned broadly for the cameras. The actress was commended by the photographers. She was kind enough to say “thank you” and then joked, “I’ve come for someone else’s wedding now.” She asked jokingly, “Are you trying to get me in trouble?” in response to the question of whether her husband Mathias Boe was with her.

The daughter of Anand Pandit threw a star-studded event. The event was attended by a number of celebrities, including Mallika Sherawat, Abhishek Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Rupali Ganguly, Emraan Hashmi, Kartik Aaryan, and Shah Rukh Khan.

Taapsee Pannu recently gave an explanation for her and Mathias Boe’s decision to keep their wedding quiet and avoid posting any formal announcements or pictures on social media. Taapsee Pannu discussed her marriage for the first time and revealed why she chose to keep the specifics of it a secret in a recent interview with Hindustan Times.

“I’m not sure if I want to expose my personal life to the kind of scrutiny that occurs,” the actress remarked. Not my spouse or the guests at the wedding; I signed up for this. I’ve kept it to myself because of this.”

“I never intended to keep it a secret; I just didn’t want to disclose it to the world because I worry about how people will react to it then. I don’t think I’m mentally ready for a release of any kind at this time, which is why I have no plans for one. I was relatively at ease since I knew who was there, and they were there to support me rather than to pass judgment,” Taapsee continued.

Taapsee Pannu, who co-owns a wedding planning company with her sister Shagun Pannu, discussed how the Sikh and Christian customs were combined during the ceremony, pointing out that they come from quite different backgrounds. Among the attendees were writers Kanika Dhillon and Anurag Kashyap in addition to Pavail Gulati.
