The flagship SUV Seltos from Korean automaker Kia now comes in revised color options for its base model. The exterior color options for the HTE model have been expanded to five. In the past, this version was only available in Clear White and Sparkling Silver for the external color options. Seven exterior color options are now available for the base Seltos SUV version, thanks to the recent upgrades. Beginning at 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the Kia Seltos is priced.

The HTE version of the Seltos now has a broader color scheme, which includes the new Pewter Olive tint that was only available in the higher grades when the SUV was first introduced, according to Kia’s official website. This model now comes in four more color options: Aurora Black Pearl, Intense Red, Gravity Grey, and Imperial Blue. Still, there are just single-tone color options available for this model. The GTX+ models are where the dual-tone Seltos begin. The Matte Graphite color is only available on the top-tier X-Line model.

A 1.5-liter gasoline engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission powers the Kia Seltos SUV base HTE model. It has a maximum torque of 144 Nm and 113 horsepower. According to Kia, this version can achieve 17 km/l of fuel efficiency.

Features-wise, the base Seltos variation has halogen projector headlights rather than the new LED headlight and DRL units available in higher variants, and its driver display is a 4.2-inch color TFT rather than a digital screen. On the other hand, all Kia versions come equipped with six airbags as standard equipment. In addition to additional safety measures, the base model has a tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control (ESC), and hill assist.

In India, Kia sells the Seltos SUV for between 10.90 lakh and 20.35 lakh (ex-showroom).
