On March 14, ASUS will unveil the Zenfone 11 Ultra, a phone that deviates from the series’ usual tiny form factor in favor of a more expansive experience.

The Zenfone 11 Ultra, according to ASUS, adopts a completely different strategy with its 6.7-inch LTPO display. This is a significant change from the 5.9-inch screen of the Zenfone 10. The Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 layer on the 11 Ultra protects the screen, which has a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz for gaming. As expected, ASUS claims that when browsing between apps and the web, the tablet can achieve a maximum refresh rate of 122Hz.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC from Qualcomm powers the Zenfone 11 Ultra internally, according to ASUS. According to the Taiwanese manufacturer, the processor and Adreno 750 GPU have a clock speed of 3.3GHz each.

Although it includes certain modifications, the 11 Ultra’s chassis is based on the gaming-focused ROG Phone 8. Customers can choose between a glossy and matte finish for the device’s understated back panel, according to ASUS.

The triple camera array on the back of the 11 Ultra is still changing. Unlike the Zenfone 10, which has two very large lenses, the lenses on this phone are contained in a square container with rounded corners. A Sony IMX980 50MP lens with a 2-x lossless zoom, 6-axis hybrid, and Gimbal Stabilizer 3.0 is used as the main lens.

A 32MP telephoto lens with a 3x zoom and a 13MP ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view accompany this. The front-facing 32MP selfie camera on the 11 Ultra. According to ASUS, the selfie camera has been enhanced with a 90-degree field of view to enable users to capture everyone in the picture in a single shot.

AI has been incorporated into the Zenfone 11 Ultra to support on-device tasks and the camera. The business notes that customers may look for particular “events, times, locations, and objects” in their images with the help of its AI software. AI can also be used to cancel out background noise when on the phone. “Portrait Video,” which is supposed to capitalize on an AI system to help produce a “natural” depth of field effect, is advantageous for the phone’s camera.

The Zenfone 11 Ultra will soon have a few capabilities available in beta, including AI Call Translator, AI Transcript for the recorder app on the phone, and AI Wallpaper.

Powered by a 5,500mAh battery, the Zenfone 11 Ultra lasts long. According to ASUS, the battery is compatible with Qi 1.3 wireless charging in addition to HyperCharge, which offers 65W rapid charging.

The device will be offered to consumers with 256GB of internal storage and up to 12GB of RAM. On March 14, the Zenfone 11 Ultra goes on sale, with a starting price of $899. Additionally, the gadget will be available to customers in four different colorways: Desert Sand, Misty Grey, Eternal Black, and Skyline Blue.
