The actor is seen in the video saying, “There were a few movies I was in that went extremely well at the box office, but I later learned I was playing a real-life character who might not be the person, and I told the director there is no way i’ll not make him likable. And I simply feel like the public shouldn’t like that person; it’s not something I should promote. Being him and the movie being about him is acceptable, but I shouldn’t glorify it. I abruptly left the movie since I had already made up my mind to do so.

He continued, “I know I’ll make him look attractive. I’m not glorying, but the way it was written, bad guys can be very attractive, and I’m telling you the truth when I say I can make bad guys very attractive because I believe that both the extremely good guy and the extremely bad guy share obsessiveness. I therefore no longer play the part.

Padmaavat, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, was one of the highest-grossing movies of 2018. Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Shahid Kapoor played the roles of Maharawal Ratan Singh, Khilji, and Rani Padmavati, respectively, in the movie. In total, the movie made Rs. 585 crore.

Shah Rukh Khan, who recently made a huge comeback with the film Pathaan, is gearing up to captivate audiences once more with the release of his forthcoming film Jawan. In Atlee’s action thriller, the actor will be seen onscreen alongside Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi.
