Samsung has made its partners aware of the “Designed For Samsung Gaming Hub” initiative. Brands are permitted to design approved gaming accessories under this program for Samsung Gaming Hub-enabled TVs, smartphones, tablets, and monitors. These approved accessories will make their debut at the CES 2024 trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the United States.

The Replay Midnight Blue wireless gaming controller from PDP is the first accessory that was “Designed for Samsung Gaming Hub.” High-end peripherals for gaming controllers such as those for the Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Sony PlayStation are produced by PDP (Performance Designed Products LLC). With two joysticks, a D-Pad, four action buttons, four shoulder trigger buttons, and two trigger buttons on the back, the controller looks to have an Xbox Controller-like design.

It contains a USB Type-C charging port and an integrated rechargeable battery with a 40-hour playback. Its Bluetooth low-latency range is thirty feet, and its home button is the Samsung Gaming Hub. In the US, you can presently pre-order the PDP Replay Midnight Blue via PDP’s website, Amazon, and Best Buy. It will be on display at CES 2024 at Samsung’s exhibit.

More gaming equipment bearing the certification “Designed For Samsung Gaming Hub” will become available to consumers. The quality, safety, security, performance, and compatibility of those accessories with Samsung devices will all be put to the test. If you’re not aware, Samsung’s Gaming Hub is a central location on their smart TVs and monitors where customers can stream games from partners in the cloud, such as Nvidia GeForce Now, Microsoft Xbox Cloud, Amazon Luna, and Utomik.

“Samsung recognizes the indispensable role that accessories play in elevating gaming experiences,” stated Jiho Ha, Head of Service Partnerships Group at Samsung Electronics. Through the “Designed for Samsung Gaming Hub” program, we will work with reliable partners to create accessories that will further better the Samsung Gaming Hub’s superior experience, building on our already high level of compatibility.
