Mahindra has introduced the XUV700, a well-liked SUV, in a new limited edition. Prices for the Blaze Edition start at 24.24 lakh ex-showroom. Only front-wheel drive and seven-seater versions will be offered for the Blaze Edition, with choices for petrol AT, diesel AT, and MT engines. Mahindra has not made any mechanical adjustments to the SUV; the 2024 Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition simply features visual changes.

The Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition has highlights of Napoli Black and a new matte Blaze Red paint job. Thus, the alloy wheels, grille, exterior rearview mirrors, and roof are all blacked out. The interior has also undergone a few minor aesthetic adjustments. Now that the cabin is coated in black, it has a little athletic appearance. In addition, Mahindra provides red stitching on the upholstery, center console, and AC vent accents.

The XUV700 Blaze Edition has not changed other than this. There are still two engine options available. There is a 2.2-liter diesel engine and a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine. The diesel engine generates 184 horsepower and up to 450 Nm of torque, while the gasoline engine reaches a maximum output of 200 horsepower and 380 Nm. There are two different gearbox options available: a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Right now, the price range for the SUV is 13.99 lakh to 26.99 lakh. Ex-showroom pricing apply to both.

Mahindra & Mahindra has said that, in April 2024, it sold 41,008 SUVs in the Indian market, representing an 18% year-over-year increase over 34,694 SUVs sold in the same month last year. In keeping with the worldwide trend, the Indian passenger vehicle market is currently experiencing an excruciating demand for SUVs, coinciding with the homegrown automobile giant’s sales boom.

In addition, the carmaker stated in a regulatory filing that it sold 41,542 passenger vehicles—across both domestic and export markets—in the utility vehicle class. The carmaker anticipates that in the upcoming months, this sales momentum will only grow. Mahindra is placing a lot of money on the recently released XUV 3XO tiny SUV, which is the brand’s smallest SUV in India.
