The Honor 90 5G is scheduled to launch in India the following week. The debut of the new handset in the nation has been officially verified by the HTech company on Thursday, September 7, via its official X (formerly Twitter) profile. It is hinted to include a triple rear camera system with a 200-megapixel resolution. It is confirmed that the Honor 90 5G has 3840Hz PWM dimming. In May, the device made its debut alongside the Honor 90 Pro in China.

On September 14, the Honor 90 5G will go on sale in India. At 12:30 IST, the launch ceremony will get started. For the debut, the HTech brand has already begun extending invitations to the media. It is certain that Amazon will be the place to buy the smartphone.

Specifications for the Honor 90’s 5G network (expected)

HTech is actively suggesting that a new phone will soon be available via X. A 1.5K resolution, TUV Rheinland-certified display with a peak brightness of 1600 nits, a pixel density of 435 ppi, and 3840Hz PWM (pulse-width modulation) dimming are some of the features that are teased to be included.

Additionally, a microsite on Amazon India’s website contains information about the Honor 90 5G’s specifications. It will undoubtedly function with MagicOS 7.1 running on Android 13. It will have a triple camera configuration, including a 200-megapixel primary camera, just like its Chinese rival. The device has a 50-megapixel front camera for taking selfies and participating in video calls.

A 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,200 x 2,664 pixels) curved OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz is featured on the Honor 90 5G in China. It has an inbuilt storage capacity of up to 512GB and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC that supports up to 16GB of RAM. A 5,000mAh battery powers it, and 66W wired rapid charging is supported.

Price of the Honor 90 5G in India (expected)

The base 12GB + 256GB edition of the Honor 90 5G had an original price of CNY 2,499 (about Rs. 29,000) when it was released in China in May. Priced at CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs. 32,680) and CNY 2,999 (about Rs. 35,017), respectively, are the 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB models. The price of the phone in India may be consistent with this. According to a previous leak, it may cost around Rs. 35,000 in India.

In 2020, Honor stopped operating in India. HTech’s activities in India will be overseen by Madhav Sheth, a former Realme Vice President for Business and Corporate Strategy.
