Global sales of the 2024 CLE53 AMG Cabriolet have been announced by Mercedes-Benz. It follows the SL Roadster as the second entry-level drop-top model. It will be the BMW M440i versus the new CLE53 AMG Cabriolet. The car’s electronically controlled fabric roof allows them to use it all year round, which makes the convertible desirable.

Being an AMG implies that the car’s engine is one of its best features. It has a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine. It has a maximum power output of 442 horsepower and a peak torque output of 560 Nm, which can be overboosted for 10 seconds to reach 600 Nm. Additionally, there is an integrated starter generator that delivers a momentary boost of 23 horsepower and 205 Nm of peak torque. The 48-volt electrical system is also fed by it. AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive, which powers all four wheels, is powered by the SpeedShift TCT 9G transmission. Additionally, rear axle steering is available, which shortens the turning radius at low speeds and offers stability at high ones.

The Mercedes-Benz CLE53 4MATIC+ has an electronically regulated maximum speed of 250 kmph. The top speed of the vehicle can be increased to 270 kmph by choosing the optional AMG Driver’s package, if desired by the buyer. Mercedes-Benz claims that the acceleration time from 0 to 100 kmph is 4.4 seconds. However, if the buyer chooses the AMG Dynamic Plus package, it can be lowered to 4.2 seconds.

AMG-specific stylistic cues for the Cabriolet include the grille, a set of aggressive bumpers, massive air intakes that provide the engine with fresh air, alloy wheels, and quad exhausts on the back. Mercedes-Benz has widened the wheel arches on both the front and rear ends. The width of the front track is now 58 mm, while the rear track is 75 mm bigger. The client can choose 20-inch alloy wheels instead of the regular 19-inch ones.
