Samantha Ruth Prabhu has returned to her job after her myositis diagnosis. The actress said that she is “back to work” in a video that she posted on her Instagram stories on Saturday. Samantha revealed that ever since she declared she was taking a vacation from acting, she has been “completely jobless.” The Kushi actress also disclosed the specifics of her next endeavor, revealing that she will be producing a podcast about health.

“Yes, finally, I’m returning to work. Apart from that, though, I had no work at all throughout that time. However, I’m having fun with a friend right now. It’s a podcast on health. Though it came as a bit of a surprise, I absolutely adore it. It is something I am really passionate about, and I can’t wait for its release next week. I sincerely hope that a few of you find it to be very helpful. Furthermore, I believe I have liked creating this (sic),” she said.

Samantha concluded shooting Citadel India in July 2023, at which point she declared a break from acting. The actress made the announcement and revealed that she would be putting her health first in the upcoming months on her Instagram profile back then. “And that concludes #CitadelIndia. Knowing what’s ahead makes a break seem like a great thing. @mensit @rajanddk The family I was aware I was lacking I appreciate your support through every struggle and your never-ending belief in me. More than anything else, I want to see you smile. She had written, “Thank you for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.. till you write me the next☺️♥️.

Regarding her career, Samantha last appeared in Kushi. In the love story drama, Vijay Deverakonda played the lead role as well.

Samantha will next be seen in Citadel, an Indian version starring Varun Dhawan. Raj and DK are in charge of it, and they are keeping quiet about the plot. But Priyanka Chopra disclosed last year that there is a connection between the plots in the Indian version of her show. She went on to say that she was excited to watch Raj and DK’s work.
