It is anticipated that Vivo would soon launch the Vivo S18 line of smartphones in China. The Vivo S18 and the S18 Pro are anticipated to be the two smartphones in the upcoming S18 series. Yesterday, the Chinese tipster WhyLab posted the main specs of these devices on Weibo. Ouyang Weifeng, vice president of Vivo products, has now posted a teaser image on Weibo that shows the Vivo S18 smartphone’s design ahead of its official launch.

Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC May Power Vivo S18

The Vivo S18 will go on sale in a new color matching called “Flower Like Brocade,” which is supposed to be inspired by blooms from the notion of oriental art, as the teaser image shows. The device’s back will include a rectangular-shaped camera module, as the teaser also reveals. The smartphone will feature three cameras, one of which will offer OIS. A soft light that is positioned next to the LED flash and an LED flash itself will help the triple-camera arrangement.

According to previous leaks, the Vivo S18 would boast a punch-hole display with a brightness of 2,800 nits. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC is anticipated to power the device internally. The smartphone may come with 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of RAM at launch, along with 256GB or 512GB of internal storage, in that order. The device may use a 50MP primary camera for optical purposes.

Regarding the Vivo S18 Pro, the Dimensity 9200+ chipset may power it. It is anticipated that the smartphone would have a 50MP primary camera (Sony IMX920 sensor). A telephoto camera and a 50MP ultra-wide lens could be combined with the 50MP sensor. Also, the smartphone might enable Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. It is anticipated that a 5,000mAh battery, capable of supporting 80W rapid charging, will power the entire device.

The Vivo S18 series’ launch date has not yet been disclosed by Vivo. The official debut date of the S18 series for the Chinese market is reportedly scheduled to be revealed by the brand on Monday, December 4.
