Numerous new quality of life features have been added by OnePlus to its lineup of smartphones. The company has now released these capabilities for the OnePlus 10T in the most recent update, after their release for the OnePlus 9RT and OnePlus Nord 3.

Build numbers IN: CPH2413_14.0.0.700(EX01) for India and EU/GLO: CPH2415_14.0.0.701(EX01) for the EU/Global area correspond to the latest upgrade.

First, this update (OxygenOS 14.0.0.700/14.0.0.701) brings with it the ability to use the Smart Sidebar to snap a “Partial screenshot.” Moreover, the Photos app now allows you to make collages without frames, giving you greater editing options.

The additional capability to modify the volume for individual apps is a much-appreciated improvement in quality of life. This implies that you can change the volume levels of each independently if you want to listen to music while playing a game or performing another work.

Additionally, a new shortcut to activate the flashlight is included in this release. When your screen is off, all you have to do is press and hold the volume down button. With fingerprint unlocking, users can now unlock their devices without waking up the screen.

One of the most recent additions to the taskbar is Fuzzy search, which enables users to begin searches by simply typing the initial letter of an app’s name. The April 2024 Android security patch and broader enhancements to the device’s performance and stability are also included in the update.

A smaller number of devices are receiving the update at first, but a larger rollout is about to follow. You can manually verify if you haven’t received the OTA update notification by going to Settings > About Device > OxygenOS > Check for Update.
