Mahindra & Mahindra appears to be preparing to launch three electrified sport utility vehicles in 2024. First, an interior redesign will be the main emphasis of the XUV400’s makeover. The XUV300-based electric SUV is therefore expected to go on sale in the middle of 2024.

The Mahindra XUV.e8, which is based on the INGLO platform and is derived from the XUV700, is anticipated to follow suit towards the end of the year, when it will become the new flagship electric SUV in the price range above Rs. 25 lakh. Here is an explanation of the three SUVs with zero emissions:

Latest Mahindra XUV400 model:

Inside and out, the new Mahindra XUV400 will be more attractively pleasing when it debuts in early 2024. A entirely redesigned dashboard and center console, a larger touchscreen with additional connected functions, and an upgraded cluster are probably the most notable improvements.

Current Mahindra XUV400 model

There won’t be any changes made to the vehicle’s performance, though, as the top-spec trims may still be able to reach their stated 456 km on a single charge. It will compete with the recently redesigned Tata Nexon EV, MG ZS EV, and Hyundai Kona Electric and remain available with two battery options.

XUV300 EV from Mahindra:

Mahindra plans to launch the electric version of the XUV300 small SUV in the middle of 2024, placing it below the XUV400 in the local lineup. It is expected to compete with the entry-level Tata Nexon EV models, with a stated driving range of 350–400 km. Both the previously stated XUV400 and the soon-to-be XUV300 facelift will share many interior features.

XUV.e8 from Mahindra:

The Mahindra XUV.e8, which is expected to make its public debut in December 2024, will be closely aligned with the exterior design of its concept car, the XUV700. The electric SUV will be built on the INGLO architecture, and the interior will most likely include a triple-screen arrangement. The XUV.e8, which is slated to have a stated range of more than 500 km, will bring in a new era for the domestic manufacturer, as the XUV.e and BE family of e-SUVs are now under development.
