A few years ago, HMD Global brought the Nokia smartphone brand back to life. Now, it is using its own name to market two new Android phones that will go on sale early next month.

Here, two lineups are in action. The HMD Pulse, which consists of the Pulse, Pulse+, and Pulse Pro, is the first. The base Pulse sports a 6.56-inch display, 4GB of RAM, and a Unisoc T606 processor. The main camera on the Pulse+ has 50MP instead of the 13MP on the base model, and it has twice as much RAM. Lastly, the Pulse Pro boasts a 50MP front-facing camera along with quicker charging.

These are pretty basic, inexpensive Android smartphones, and as such, they will be sold in Europe for €139, €159, and €179, respectively.

However, HMD is releasing the “Vibe” in the US. This is a little more interesting device that will launch in May.

Similar to the three Pulse phones, the HMD Vibe sports a 6.56-inch 90Hz display, a Snapdragon 680 engine, 6GB of RAM, and a 13MP primary back camera. Additionally, it features a 4,000 mAh battery—a little less than the 5,000 mAh found in the Pulse lineup—that can still be charged via USB-C.

It comes pre-installed with Android 14 and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

In May, HMD will launch Vibe in the US for $149.

HMD Vibe looks fairly good for its price range, though it probably won’t impress.
