Parts for the Chinese telecom behemoth’s upcoming high-end flagship smartphone series are now being supplied by Huawei Technologies’ vendors, according to reports.

Industry chain insiders reported yesterday that Huawei’s delivery objective for the P70 series is rather optimistic.

Huawei’s top-tier flagship phone line, the P series, is marketed primarily for its sophisticated photographic features. With excellent advancements in camera components, the P70 is anticipated to have core artificial intelligence photography.

The Huawei P70’s official release date has not yet been disclosed by Huawei. According to some analysts, the Shenzhen-based company’s new flagship line would launch in the market the following month and rank among the best-selling smartphones in the first half of the year.

Since the Mate 60 Series was introduced in the latter part of last year, Huawei has seen a considerable boost in smartphone sales. Research claims that the company’s phone sales increased by 64% in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year, placing it second in the Chinese smartphone market.

Huawei’s flagship high-end series are the Mate and P series. While the latter has more stylish and customized looks, the former is more focused on business and utilitarian purposes. P smartphones, which cater primarily to the mid-to upper-class market, are less expensive than Mate smartphones.
