A few months ago, the Vivo Y56 5G was introduced in India. At a launch price of Rs. 19,999, the smartphone was released with just one storage option. The Vivo Y56 5G now comes in a 4GB RAM and 128GB storage edition, which is priced somewhat less than the one with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that was first introduced by the firm. Funtouch OS 13 is based on Android 13 and powers the smartphone. A 5,000mAh battery with capability for 18W rapid charging is included, and the device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC.

The smartphone company said on Monday that the Vivo Y56 5G will now be offered in a new 4GB RAM and 128GB storage edition for a price of Rs. 16,999. The two color options for the new variation are Black Engine and Orange Shimmer. It has two back cameras, one with a 50-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture) and the other with a 2-megapixel secondary lens (f/2.4 aperture), for optics. It has a 16-megapixel selfie and video call sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.

It has a 5,000mAh battery inside that enables 18W rapid charging. The smartphone is 164.05×75.60×8.15mm in size and 184 grams in weight. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication is present on the Vivo Y56 5G. It supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, OTG, FM radio, and a USB Type-C port for communication.
