The major news about the newly released 2024 Audi Q6 e-tron, which was developed in tandem with the Macan, is that it retains all of the cutting-edge technology found in the mid-size Porsche SUV.

The Q6 e-tron is scheduled to launch in Australia, albeit the exact date has not yet been disclosed. The ideal time frame is early in 2025.

Australian consumers will have to wait a little while longer for pricing information, but in Europe, Audi has disclosed that the Q6 e-tron range would begin at €74,700 ($124,000) for the standard dual-motor model and rise to €93,800 ($156,000) for the SQ 6 e-tron, prior to the car’s introduction in Q3 of 2024.

The Audi will have the same 800-volt electrical design when it gets here, allowing for ultra-fast charging at up to 270kW. This will allow a 10-80% top-up to be finished in as little as 21 minutes.

Additionally, the new Audi Q6 can travel up to 255 km on a single charge thanks to its massive 100kWh lithium-ion battery, and it can travel up to 625 km on a single charge with a splash and dash charge in just 10 minutes.

In the meanwhile, up to 11kW of AC charging is possible.

Based on the most advanced PPE architecture of the Volkswagen Group, which Porsche and Audi developed together, the base Audi Q6 e-tron will have a dual-motor engine with 285kW of output and all-wheel drive.

Even the most economical model will go quickly—it takes 5.9 seconds to go from zero to 100 km/h, and its maximum speed is 210 km/h.

The quicker Audi SQ 6 e-tron picks up the pace, reaching a top speed of 230 km/h and a comparatively shorter 0-100 km/h time of just 4.3 seconds thanks to its dual-motors’ punchier 380kW (in boost mode).

Although those outputs are amazing, they still fall short of the base Macan 4’s 300kW overboost and the Macan Turbo’s 470kW overboost, which allows it to reach 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds.

Subsequently, a Q6 e-tron with a single motor is anticipated to appear at a more alluring price point, with more efficiency and an even longer range.

With dimensions of 4771mm in length, 1993mm in width, 1648mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2899mm, the new Q6 e-tron is significantly larger than the Audi Q5 with internal combustion.

There is plenty of room inside, and the 526-liter trunk is rather big. If the second row of seats is removed, it increases to 1529 liters. The Audi mid-sizer also has a 64-liter trunk up front.

The Audi Q6 e-tron’s interior is dominated by a brand-new, free-standing panoramic display that pairs a huge 14.5-inch infotainment screen with an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster.

The driver has another 10.9-inch screen in front of them. A potent 20-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system and a self-learning onboard assistance are two more new technologies.

To lessen its influence on the environment According to Audi, a lot of recyclable materials were employed.
