Hero MotoCorp plans to introduce the Mavrick 440, a motorcycle modeled after the Harley-Davidson X440, on January 23, 2024. The Mavrick 440, with its aggressive-looking fuel tank and retro-inspired design, is expected to rival the Royal Enfield 350 line as well as the Yezdi and Jawa 300-350 cc motorcycles.

It will be powered by the popular 440 cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine from the X440. Nevertheless, the performance numbers may vary, and a six-speed transmission will be mated to the powerplant. Many teases of the Hero Mavrick have already been released, revealing a great deal of information. A few days ago, we also brought you the first spy photos.

Although it misses the Harley-Davidson X440’s upside-down front forks, the Hero Mavrick 440 will still have lots of equipment. However, it won’t be as luxurious. All LED lighting, split seats, an LCD instrument dashboard, an upright handlebar, mid-set footpegs, a side-mounted exhaust system, fuel tank extensions with a faux air intake, and other features are included.

Telescopic front forks and twin-sided shock absorbers at the back will handle the suspension tasks. In the meantime, a dual-channel ABS system will help the front and rear disc brakes perform better when stopping. With its potential to be a strong player in the entry-level middleweight class, the Mavrick is expected to cost less than Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hero will display a sporty naked motorbike, called the Xtreme 125R, as we exclusively disclosed a few days ago, though this has not been confirmed. It will use the same engine as the Glamour 125 and compete against the TVS Raider 125 and Bajaj Pulsar NS 125. It will produce 10.5 Nm of peak torque at 6,250 rpm and 11 PS at 8,250 rpm.

A five-speed transmission will be connected to the powerplant. One of this motorcycle’s main selling points will be its muscular design, and its starting price (ex-showroom) is likely to be around Rs. 90,000. On the launch floor, the brand’s first adventure scooter may be present with both motorcycles.
